Aurora Suite Privacy Policy

Aurora Analytica AS (“Aurora Analytica”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and organizations using the Aurora Suite platform (“Service”).

This Privacy Policy applies to all registered users of the Aurora Suite, whether accessing the Service under an evaluation period or as a subscriber. It explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable data protection laws.

1. Data We Collect

When you use the Service, we may collect the following types of data:

  • Account information: name, email address, organization, and login credentials.

  • Usage information: activity logs, interactions with features, support communications.

  • Customer data: information and documents uploaded or processed within the Service on behalf of your organization.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and operating system.

2. How We Use Data

We use personal data only as necessary to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.

  • Communicate with users (e.g. support, system updates, evaluation or subscription information).

  • Improve and develop platform functionality.

We do not sell personal data.

3. Data Processing on Behalf of Customers

When you or your organization upload or process information within the Service, you remain the data controller, and Aurora Analytica acts as a data processor. Processing of such customer data is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

4. Sub-Processors and Data Sharing

We may share data with trusted sub-processors (such as secure cloud hosting providers) that support the delivery of the Service. All sub-processors are bound by GDPR-compliant agreements. A list of sub-processors is available on request.

We may also share data if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

5. International Data Transfers

Personal data may be processed in the EU/EEA or other jurisdictions with adequate data protection safeguards. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

6. Data Retention

  • Evaluation period data is deleted or anonymized within [e.g. 60 days] after the evaluation ends, unless converted into a subscription.

  • Customer data under subscription is retained for the duration of the contract and deleted upon termination, unless retention is legally required.

  • Support and system logs may be retained for security and compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g. EU/EEA or California), you may have the right to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your personal data.

  • Request correction or deletion of your data.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.

  • Request transfer of your data to another service (data portability).

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls, and multi-factor authentication.

9. Children’s Data
